DAY 01 Arrival Negombo & rest
- Meet-and-assist at Bandaranaike International Airport and private transfer to Negombo.
- Overnight near the lagoon to rest before heading into the dry-zone parks.
DAY 02 Negombo >> Wilpattu
- Scenic drive north-west to Wilpattu National Park—Sri Lanka’s largest and oldest reserve.
- Check in near the park gates for an early safari start tomorrow.
DAY 03 Wilpattu
- Full-day Wilpattu safaris—leopards, sloth bears, and elephants among natural villus.
- Quiet jungle tracks with fewer crowds than the southern parks.
DAY 04 Wilpattu >> Anuradhapura >> Habarana
- Morning transfer via sacred Anuradhapura, then on to Habarana in the Cultural Triangle.
- Evening at leisure at your dry-zone lodge.
DAY 05 Habarana >> Minneriya National Park >> Habarana
- Afternoon jeep safari at Minneriya—seasonal elephant gatherings around the ancient tank.
- Return to Habarana for dinner and an early night.
DAY 06 Habarana >> Nuwara Eliya
- Climb into the hill country—tea estates, cool air, and colonial-era charm.
- Check in to Nuwara Eliya with time for a lakeside stroll.
DAY 07 Nuwara Eliya >> Horton Plains >> Nuwara Eliya
- Pre-dawn visit to Horton Plains—World’s End lookout and cloud-forest trails.
- Return to Nuwara Eliya for a relaxed afternoon.
DAY 08 Nuwara Eliya >> Ella
- Scenic transfer to Ella—Nine Arch Bridge viewpoints and ridge-line walks.
- Overnight in the hill-country village atmosphere.
DAY 09 Ella >> Arugam Bay
- Descend toward the east coast and Arugam Bay—lagoon scenery and surf culture.
- Beach-side overnight before Kumana safaris.
DAY 10 Arugam Bay
- Leisure day on the east coast—surf, lagoon walks, or relaxed beach time.
- Optional local dining and sunset viewpoints with your guide.
DAY 11 Arugam Bay >> Kumana >> Arugam Bay
- Full-day safari loop to Kumana National Park—birds, elephants, and coastal lagoons.
- Return to Arugam Bay for the night.
DAY 12 Arugam Bay >> Udawalawe
- Cross the island toward Udawalawe—open grasslands and near-guaranteed elephant sightings.
- Lodge overnight near the park entrance.
DAY 13 Udawalawe >> Yala
- Morning at Udawalawe with optional Elephant Transit Home visit, then transfer to Yala.
- Prepare for dawn leopard and wildlife drives in Block 1.
DAY 14 Yala >> Sinharaja
- Final Yala safari at first light, then climb toward Sinharaja rainforest.
- Check in to a forest-edge lodge for endemic birding walks.
DAY 15 Sinharaja >> Bentota >> Madu River >> Bentota
- Morning rainforest walk, then descend to the west coast—Madu River boat safari en route.
- Overnight in Bentota with river and beach access.
DAY 16 Bentota
- Leisure day on the west coast—optional water sports, spa time, or turtle hatchery visits.
- Final night before your airport transfer.
DAY 17 Bentota >> BIA
- Private transfer from Bentota to Bandaranaike International Airport for your outbound flight.
